Online Sankalp Puja from Ujjain: Live Video Call Rituals for Outstation Devotees
videocam Quick Answer: How Online Sankalp Puja Works
Devotees join a live two-way video call with authorized Ujjain Vedic Priests at the predetermined Shubh Muhurat. Holding water, unpolished rice, and a copper coin, the devotee recites their Gotra and birth details during the live Sankalp. The priests then complete the multi-hour ritual, mantra recitations, and havan in the temple sanctum. Energized prasad, yantras, and sacred thread are dispatched via insured express courier.
In classical Vedic scripture, when geographical distance, severe illness, or visa constraints prevent a devotee from physically reaching a sacred pilgrimage center, the Karmakanda establishes the doctrine of Pratinidhi Puja (Representative Ritual) and Manasik Sankalp. Under this scriptural authority, a consecrated Vedic priest acts as the authorized spiritual representative on the devotee's behalf, binding their personal Gotra and intention to the holy shrine.
Who is Online Puja Best Suited For?
- NRI & Overseas Devotees: Indian diaspora residing in the USA, UK, Canada, UAE, or Australia who cannot take immediate leave to visit Ujjain.
- Elderly or Medically Fragile Pilgrims: Seniors who cannot travel physically but require the spiritual protection of Mahamrityunjay Jaap or Navgrah Shanti.
- Urgent Astrological Timings: Those needing rituals performed on rare cosmic tithis (like Angarki Chaturthi or Nag Panchami).
